Cartoon: Senility

Once upon a time, the price of a gallon of gasoline was 20 cents.
Once upon a time, the price of a gallon of gasoline was 20 cents.

Yep, I remember sometime around 1969, the price of a gallon of gasoline was 33 cents in Panama.  And you had those three Kings of customer service running hastily to your car to clean the windshield, check the tires and the motor oil.

Now in 2008, the price for a gallon of gasoline is $4.02 and the three Kings of customer service are gone. Even the guy who pumped the gasoline into your car has vanished.  Now you have to pump your own gasoline at the same price.  It’s call “self service”.  Times have certainly changed, and I’m not senile—yet.  Shalom!
