Good Day!

  1. This is way too common a sight in the U.S. and conservative Republican legislators and alternative “Christians” are doing everything they can to cut social welfare spending even further. There are more than 500,000 (HALF A MILLION) homeless in America of which a quarter are children and there are nearly 50,000 homeless veterans. But we need to make sure that the uber wealthy get more tax cuts.

    1. Hi, Richard:

It feels so nice to hear from you again. Long time no see. Hope all is well on your side. It is sad the way the U.S. economy is sinking under the GOP administration. I understand they control both the House and the Senate. Donald Trump is doing all he can to ruin the country. The U.S. is no longer respected in the rest of the world and many inside the country as well.

The state of the economy is in shambles. The fiscal deficit is a disaster, to put it mildly. “The U.S. federal budget deficit for the fiscal year 2018 is $352 billion. FY 2018 covers October 1, 2017, through September 30, 2018. The deficit occurs because the U.S. government spending of $4.268 trillion is higher than its revenue of $3.916 trillion.”

Everytime Mr. Trump travels abroad, he makes a ridicule of himself. Europe cares less about him, as well as Russia and China. As this international situation takes places, the domestic problems are rising. It is a shame that the number one economy in the world can not take care of its own. Having over half a million of homeless people on the streets is embarrassing to Americans, while at the same time, taxes are being lowered to the greedy large corporations “too big to fail”.

On the other hand, In Panama, the situation is surprisingly very similar.

Social Security is in dire straits, but that is another story for another day. Again, the same situation is Panama due to careless governments.
