This picture was taken at Metro Mall on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at exactly 12;20 p.m. (-5 GMT).  At that fleeting moment in time I was breathing and had life inside of me.  This photograph captured this speck of time in the middle of eternity before I was born and long after I’m gone.  For me that is the miracle of photography; the ability to freeze time.

Good Day!

  1. Hola Omar,
The miracle of photography for me is the ability to record and share snapshots of related events over a span of time to tell a story of history. My dad took thousands of photos during his 93 year span on earth. Looking at those family photos replays our family’s travel through time and the changes we have seen. Imagine now how easy it is for me to look through the short time we have recorded with just our grand kids arrival. Long after we are gone, they will have instant access to a record of their experience on an almost daily basis.

  2. Hola Jim and Nena:

You have a good point there. In my case, The Twisters can trace their early years in Lingua Franca. I’m sure they will recreate those early days with love, long after I am gone. Yes, you definitely have a good point, my friend. 🙂
