  1. Hola Omar,
I can not show this post to Nena. She will punish me for showing such delicious fruit that she can no longer eat.

For some reason, she developed an allergy to mangoes and can not even handle the fruit. We used to eat them all the time but something changed her chemistry after our 2nd son was born. The bad reaction is very severe and painful so we have to watch for the contents of fruit juices which often have mango in them.

I can still eat them and love the taste but I don’t buy them now because of her allergy. For now, the wonderful fotos is as close as we can get! 🙂

  2. Hola Jim and Nena:

I’m so sorry for Nena and her allergy towards mangos. We also have problems with some fruits which have a high content of acids, like orange, pineapple, lemon and so forth. Fruits rich in acids are a No-No for us. So we understand her nostalgy for mangos. She can always placate her hunger for mangos with photos of the delicious tropical fruit. 🙂
