A few days ago, my Sony Vaio bit the bullet. I was in deep trouble. Couldn´t manage my photographs and could run the risk of not being able to type my blog here in WordPress. I gave it a shot using my spare Apple iPad which I usually use to analyze the color quality and sharpness of my pictures. It has a respectable screen with an Apple feature called “Retina Display“
Anyway, I attached a matching keyboard accessory to the tablet, and it sure did a decent job. For several days, Lingua Franca came out as expected. There were no pictures, but at least the text post were satisfactory. It saved the embarrassment of interrupting the publishing of Lingua Franca. That would have been a big problem I have a high respect to all you guys out there. Readers are first—always!
Below are a couple of pictures of the little machine that saved the blog for several days. A few minutes ago, I learned how to transfer photographs from my camera’s memory card to the new laptop’s hard disk. That was a giant leap forward. Next step is to make my HP printer work. But, I’m taking it easy—one step at a time.
