Photograph shot in the front garden of our house in Panama. The exif of the exposure was the following:
- Aperture: f/8.0
- Shutter Speed: 1/30 of a second
- ISO: 200
- Camera: Canon DSLR Rebel EOS T2i
- Tripod: Manfrotto
- Lightmeter: Sekonic Flashmate L-308S/Incident Light
Natural light with bright sunlight about 10:00 a.m.
A more accurate metering method is to use an incident–light meter. This type of handheld light meter measures the amount of light falling on the subject. When you measure the light before it falls on the subject, you will achieve consistent results regardless of the color of the subject you are metering. I’m learning how to use the electronic gadget.
