The Old English Pier

Structure that challenged the pass of time for many years.  It was used to moor the fishing boats loaded with seafood for the local fishing market.  As progress hit the metropolis, the structure was replaced by a modern wharf which served the same needs of the fishing market.

I’m glad I captured it in time for future generations.  Down the road, Generation Millennial and the ones to come will not know that this structure  was ever there.  This is one of many ways photography preserves history for future generations.

Good Day!
