  1. I just noticed some rust-colored orchids in the grocery store this week. They weren’t fading or damaged, but truly brown in color. I think I prefer these, but it’s interesting what the breeders can do.

    1. I’ve seen beeding flowers with other species to produce gorgeous new breeds with almost all the colors of the rainbow. The same is done with fruits. Like mixing apples and pears resulting in an interesting juicy man-made fruit. Certainly we are living in exciting times.

      Transgenic food is also possible today; however I’m afraid down the road, it could be harmful to the human body. Dow-Jones is famous for producing transgenic corn (Pioneer). Scary stuff going on in todays labs, if you ask me.
