October is around the corner, yet some Christmas early birds are broadcasting their year’s end merchandise.  Soon, much sooner than we realize, Christmas carols will be floating in the air.  So, I might as well start today with an early Christmas picture. This flower looks like a Christmas tree to me.  Don’t you think so?

Good Day!

  1. I had to laugh. I just got my first Christmas catalog in the mail this week, and thought to myself that it seems even earlier than usual. Ah, well. An extra two weeks of ignoring them won’t pain me.

The blooms remind me of our desert willow: one of the prettiest trees around. I know I have a photo of a blossom somewhere. If I can find it, I’ll send it along. I need to start labeling photos once I identify the plant. It would make searching for them so much easier!

    1. It surprised me too, to start watching TV Christmas ads in the middle of September. Soon we will have Christmas ads shortly after Christmas in February or March.

All for the search of the fast buck. The ring of the cash register is taking the commercial community by storm. Consumerism is on the rise these days; at least it is in this part of the world.
