Learning The Ropes of Desktop Photography

Lately I’ve been reading and viewing YouTube’s videos about desktop photography.  It is amazing what you can come up with with very inexpensive gear.  My next project is to purchase a basic light tent with corresponding desktop lights and backgrounds.  When it gets here of course depends on how tight or loose the wallet is.  Will wait and see.

In the meantime, I’ve been playing with the tools I have.  Below are pictures of a dark red apple shot on our living room table lighted by one moderate daylight bulb.  A tripod was used to hold a DSLR camera.
