  1. Ah. You’ve shown this one before. I had wondered if the pink belonged to brachts, and so it seems. I think the actual flowers are the little thingies surrounded by the pink, petal-like brachts. It’s like a poinsettia — for years I thought the red “petals” actually were petals, but they’re brachts.

  2. Yes, Linda. I’ve been publishing these flowers by tiny drops, one shot at a time. I still have more where this came from. I don’t want to bore the readers with too much of the same.

    Thank you for the explanation of “brachts“. Before today I didn’t even know the word existed. There is so much to learn, and you are an excellent teacher. 🙂
