Preparations for shooting a close-up photograph of a small red flower in my home office. This place is getting too small to accomodate all the photography accessories needed to do this kind of work. Will have to so something about it for future home sessions.
The black round object is a reflector used to create a black background for the shot. It is held in place by a Neewer arm support and its corresponding stand.
In the foreground you can see the DSRL camera mounted on a tripod to avoid camera shake. A modest Yongnuo speedlite was also used to provide the appropriate light inside the site.
This is the result of the photography session. It is not a perfect shot, but at least it is a beginning. It is attributed to Thomas Alva Edison that “Perfection is one percent inspiration, ninety nine perspiration.”
