      1. Black and white often gives more contrast. It takes away the distraction of colour and allows the viewer to focus on the content. I love using B&W.

    1. Same thing happened to me, so I decided to include them both. I’m getting ready to go out to take some pictures of several modern buildings near our home. It should be a rewarding day. Plenty of soft light outside. 🙂

  1. DesleyJane, I remember reading somewhere that when you take a shot in color you photograph the clothes of the subject, but when you shoot in black and white, you capture the soul of the subject. I completely agree with your stand on B&W.
