As you can see in these pictures, the plant is feeling the absence of water.  It is drying up on the tip of the leaves.  High temperatures in Panama City, Panama is the cause of this problem.

For example, yesterday afternoon, temperatures rose over 36 degrees Celsius equivalent to 96.8 degrees Fahrenheit.  I like warm weather, but my golly, this is too much for me.

Good Day!

  1. I wish I could send you our rain. We’re forecast to have rain Saturday and then through all next week. I’m completely miffed, because I have a work deadline of next Thursday that I may not make. I’d better make use of today!

    1. We surely would appreciate every drop of rain on this part of the world. This is becoming a real inferno; but the situation in the countryside is even worse.

Several intakes of water had to be stopped yesterday due to the low levels of the reservoirs. The water pumps could be damaged for dangerous low levels of water or high levels of sand. More and more trucks are now engaged in water deliveries to the communities.

People are buying gallons of waters to drink at the supermarkets. Bottled water is not cheap, but you have to do what you have to do. Water supply is Panama City is normal. Fingers crossed.

Absence of water is bad, but at the same time, excess of water is bad too. Sigh…

      Cheers,

      Omar.-
