    1. Morning Barbara:

      Even as we speak, drought continues. Temperatures are reaching 35 degrees Celsius. Rivers are evaporating. Drinking water delivered to communities using trucks. Rains not expected till May or June.

      Situation critical in dry belt and other provinces. Panama Canal is announcing draft restrictions due to low water level of Gatun Lake.

      Other countries are experiencing similar experiences.



  1. That second photo is my favorite. The colors are so rich, and I always like a little lavender with my sunsets. With it being so dry, does dust in the air lend a little extra color?

    I’m not sure about the dust suspended in the air. It could very well be. It’s interesting how sunrises change from day to day.
