Sangría’s Cocktail

Almost everybody, rich or poor, is getting ready to receive the new year 2016.  It’s a blank piece of paper where we will fill in on a daily basis, our deeds.  Then the cycle stats all over again And so spins the Merry-Go-Round…round and round and round,  in a circle game.

We usually don’t drink alcohol, mainly because it is bad for our high blood pressure.  However for New Year we make a small exception.  I drink one small cup of Riunite peach wine and my wife drinks a medium cup of Sangría with small dices of fruits to enhance its flavor.  This is how it looks like before sipping a bit.

  1. I remember the days when Sangria was the “in” drink for college students. I remember it, of course, because I was one of those college students. I’ve not thought of it in ages, but it certainly looks good.

    1. Hi Linda:

As I mentioned in my post, we are not fans of alcoholic beaverages due to our high blood pressure, but we skipped the rules for Christmas and New Year. Minimum quantities for sure. 🙂

It tastes better than it looks, specially adding fruits like grapes, oranges, apples and bananas. Yummy!
