Beautiful silk flowers purchased by my wife to deposit on her father and mother’s grave on the Day of the Ones That Passed Away—November 2nd of every year.  They really look like fresh flowers.  Amazing!

    1. Morning Ann:

Indeed they do. When my wife unwrapped the package, I couldn’t believe they were artificial flowers. Thus my immediate action to capture their beauty, before she took them away to Aguadulce where her parents rest.

I agree, flowers will lift our spirits and make our lives a lot brighter.

      Thank you for your comments,

      Bye,

      Omar.-

  1. They’re so lovely. One of my great griefs is that I’m too far away to tend to my parents’ graves on our traditional day of remembrance: Memorial Day. That was when we cleared away the winter debris, cleaned the graves, and planted fresh flowers or trimmed the old. It was a wonderful tradition.

    1. Morning Linda:

Memorial Day is quite an event in this part of the world. All the country’s cemeteries are cleaned and the grass trimmed to look spick-and-span.

Relatives decorate their relatives graves with flowers of different colors and sizes. They usually kneel and pray for their loved ones who saw the bright light before they did. Very emotional scenes.

That is what my wife will be doing these days while I take care of the house in Panama City.

      God Bless,

      Omar.-
