Experimenting with macro photography with a bouquet of fresh flowers in our living room.  I plan to dedicate some time photographing flowers; it’s such a pleasant endeavor if you enjoy photography.

“It is the flower that is the most photographed subject in the world, outside of pictures of family and friend.”

Camera:  Canon DSLR Rebel EOS T2i camera with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 fixed lens.  I used natural light from a nearby living room window.

  1. It is fun to photograph flowers, isn’t it? I swear, no matter how many I take of the same flower, each seems just a little different. Some are less appealing, some more, but none ever is a waste of time.

    1. Roger that Linda. The only subject where you can’t go wrong are flowers. That will be my sweet spot for the time being.

My other favorite subject is speedlite photography. Light has unique mysterious and fascinating properties than can be captured creatively by the camera obscura.
