This place is El Machetazo, where we buy our groceries every two weeks.  They have affordable prices and the merchandise is good.  Not first class, but satisfactory.  Shots taken with a P&S Canon PowerShot A720 IS.  Good Day.

    1. Hi Barbara:

Usually the lines are small on normal days, but on paydays, it really gets hectic and the lines are very long and the buying process is a pain in the neck. This was the case when I took this shot.

Yes, I also like to watch people. This was the case with this picture of an Ecuadorian woman with an attractive hat and also well-dressed.

  1. I generally prefer color to black and white, but in this case, I really like the black and white version. I wouldn’t enjoy being in the line, but it does make for some great photos.

  2. Morning Linda:

Normally I shoot in color, but this time, I wanted to see the effect in Black and White as well. I liked them both, so I posted the two exposures.

What captured my attention was the picturesque hat of this Ecuadorian woman visiting Panama. Watching the scene of people patiently waiting in line was quite entertaining and resulted in this shot.
