Fresh Produce

Snapshot of a stand of fresh produce displayed outside a clinic of the Panama Social Security in the neighborhood of Bethania. The odd-shaped  pumpkins caught my attention. Photo by ©Omar Upegui R.

    1. It is the perfect place to go, find fresh veggies and meet interesting people. We go to these places as much as we can. At our age, it is highly recommended to include fresh veggies in your diet. We both do. 🙂

      Bye,

      Omar.-

  1. Those remind me of our turban squash, although, of course, they could be a different variety. When fall comes, squash and gourds can make as lovely a display as flowers, wtih their variety of shapes and colors.

    1. Now that you mention it, these veggies do look like a turban. You’re right. We are lucky to have squashes all year round. My wife likes to include small pieces of squash when she makes soup. It’s delicious.

Linda, is there any difference between a squash and a pumpkin or are they the same thing with different names?

Enjoy this beautiful Sunday. Getting ready to take some pictures in downtown Panama. It’s now 6:25 a.m. Nice and cool outside and the sky is partly cloudy. It will probably rain in the afternoon.

      Bye,

      Omar.-
