Waiting For a Child to Play

He went dashing to the yard to wait for his friend to play.  He said he would be there—on the backyard, that is—sharp on time.  But, he was not there.  Nobody was there.

He waited and waited and waited.  But his friend was nowhere to be seen.  Yet he knew he would come.  So he waited, and waited, and waited.

This toy has been used to play by all the Twisters except Abdiel. Now it is abandoned in our home waiting for a new friend to play. Unfortunately we don’t have children here.

Probably will donate it to a charity organization where friends cN be more easily found. I think it’s a pretty cute toy dog.
