  1. Our wild sunflowers are blooming everywhere now. I wish I could bring you a bouquet of their happy faces to photograph! I do love sunflowers — I suspect everyone does.

    1. Morning Linda,

I sure would like to receive a nice bouquet of Texas flowers. Yes, I guess sunflowers are a favorite of everybody. Remember the extraordinary sunflowers of Vincent Van Gogh?

      Regards,

      Omar.-

      1. My favorite place to eat in Galveston is called the Sunflower Bakery. It’s all yellows and blues and of course sunflowers. The food’s exceptional, too!

  2. Hola Omar,
this is another of my favorite Spanish words, girasol. It is the perfect name and description all in one.

When we lived in Kansas we saw huge fields of them. It is known as the Sunflower state for a good reason.

    1. Hola Jim and Nena:

This is something new. I did not know Kansas was known as the Sunflower state. I can imagine myself in the midst of those huge fields of sunflowers with a camera in my hand. Awesome! 🙂

      Bye,

      Omar.-
