  1. That last photo, with the flower just peeking out, is wonderful. We could stand a little spring peeking out around here, but it will come. It’s actually good that we’re getting another cold front this week, because the last thing we need is for the fruit trees to blossom and then get nipped by the cold — that would mean fewer (or no!) peaches this summer.

  2. I’ve been following the weather in the United States and it has been pretty rough, specially on the East Coast. I have a friend in Main who is seriously thinking of coming back to Panama because of excessive snow and sub-zero temperatures.

    If you are born and raised with this kind of weather, I guess it’s business as usual. For example people living in Minnesota, Canada or Alaska, but for us who have lived in the Tropics for such a long time, a rough winter really gets to your bones.

    I hope Mother Nature will be kind enough to protect your peaches. Oh, how I love that fruit, albeit it’s pretty expensive in this part of the world.
