  1. You know what amuses me about this photo? I had a sudden vision of you skulking around the house, seeking out subjects. Beware the Mad Photographer — no object is safe!

And I do like the photo. It’s great to take that “second look” at ordinary items.

  2. You are absolutely right. In the world of photography, everything is fair game. Everything!

After retiring and having ample time at my disposal, and adopting photography as a hobby, I’ve learned to be more aware of my surroundings. In the past I was awake, but still rfemained asleep. I looked at the world, but saw very little of it.

Now, I’m looking at the clouds, shadows, textures, shapes, colors, and so on. You get my point.

Lately I’ve been reading two books about close-up and macro photography. That is another world—only on deep inside—meaning what the naked eye can not see. This unique genre of photgraphy will give me the opportunity of observing reality from a totally new perspective. Imagine all the subjects out there that are invisible to our eyes. It’s time to discover this hidden universe.

The journey has just begun. 🙂

    Cheers,

    Omar.-
