Cooking Gloves and Pads

Like a Christmas stocking this pretty cooking glove hangs from a kitchen cabinet. Like a kid, I can’t get enough of the Christmas Season. Photo by ©Omar Upegui R.

This cooking pad has seen its moments of glory in its early days. Now it looks torn, tired and worn out, but it’s hanging in there (no pun intended) challenging the wear and tear of every day life. Photo by ©Omar Upegui R.

  1. Morning Barbara:

The Christmas Spirit is reverberating across the nation. I wish we could have more peace in the upcoming year. I’m sick of all this violence. I liked your message. We are hungry for peace and inner joy as you said.

    Blessings,

    Omar.-

  2. Oh, we’re in tune today. I just rolled out the cat carols again. It’s been two years, and many people haven’t read them, so it seemed like time to dust off the tradition. I notice that your Santa has a kitty-cat with him, too. 🙂

  3. Yes my dear Linda. We’re in tune with Kitty Christmas. I love these year’s end Holidays. They are a breath of fresh air amongst so much violence going on around us. “Peace on Earth Goodwill to Men”—I wish this would happen, one day. Sigh!

    Greetings,

    Omar.-

  4. Yes, we pray for Peace in these horribly violent times. People need to find love and compassion in their hearts. It is those I’ve met on the internet that have a lot of beauty and love in their hearts and keep me inspired to not lose hope…not so much what I see around me day to day, sadly. PEACE and LOVE~ Blessings to you!

  5. Hi Barbara,

Great message Barbara. I agree that violence is taking our planet by storm. Over the years I have accumulated very nice relationships with several persons on the Internet who seem to understand the construct of peace and friendship. You are one of them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with this old man in the middle of America (the continent).

    Blessings,

    Omar.-
