Scooter Girl, In Pink

Snapshot of Mariluz original from Colombia in South America now living in Panama. She kindly posed for the camera. After exchanging pleasantries, I found out her last name was Upegui and was born in Pereira, Department of Risaralda. My father’s last name was Upegui and was born in Pereira. Small world, isn’t it? 1. Lovely woman, nice scooter, great photos. I like the second one especially. I think it’s the colors of the buildings in the background. It’s interesting that the sky is almost the color of her scooter, too. It pulls the photo together nicely.

  2. This is a nice trend in Panama. More and more women are using scooters to go to work or just travel around the city. They look so cute perched on their vehicles. I always wanted to take a picture of these scooter girls, but never had the opportunity, until Mariluz came rolling along.

I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures. Thank you.

    1. Yes, that is so true. I noticed that similarity when Linda commented that the sky was the same color of the scooter. Photography can be so interesting in revealing subtle details and information about the venues where a picture is captured by the camera.

You have an acute observation ability, John. That is good. Being awake and observe reality around you is a good habit to develop. Thank you for visiting my blog. Always feel welcomed.
