Rainy Day in Panama

  1. Oh how I miss those rain storms! Here in Fort Worth we are beginning our “dry” season. Storms pop up all around, it may rain in your neighbor’s yard but not yours. We wave at the storm centers as they pass by on radar while we set up the sprinklers to keep at least some of the lawn green.

    Nena and I were out early again today, it is the only time it is cool enough to be working outside. In Texas, we don’t watch the clock while working, we watch the thermometer. When it strikes 90°F, we quit.

    I know what you mean. Those summer days can be a nightmare and everybody is fixed to the performance of the ever rising mercury. As you know, our dry weather gets pretty nasty down here too—hot and humid.

    Hope you get a cloud burst now and then to calm the heat.
