Egg Flower

Having fun with eggs and a bit of celery. Shot taken with a small Point-and-Shoot Canon PowerShot A720 IS camera. The colorful cloth was manually embroidered by my wife at school when she was in seventh grade a long, long time ago. Photo by ©Omar Upegui R.

  1. Tell Aura that even in the midwestern states of America, girls did the same kind of sampler pieces in “Home Ec” classes. They really were fun. My class project was an apron.

  2. Linda,

It’s sad to see that these class projects have been eliminated in our present education system. The computer has displaced the manual works of cooking, agriculture projects and sewing.

But it is what it is and I don’t see the computers fading out into the sunset anytime soon. They are here to stay and the cellphones are even more and more ubiquitous.
