The Modern Face of Panama

For the two last decades Panama has enjoyed one of the fastest growing economies in the hemisphere and the world.  As the rest of the globe licks its economic wounds after the financial meltdown of 2008, Panama moves steadily forward in a desperate effort to become a first world country.  We still have a lot of ground to cover, but the compass is set in the right direction.

International banking, insurance, telecommunications, transportation, commerce, and tourism have been the main drivers of our economy.  Our country is very dynamic and buzzing like a beehive.  Panama City’s spectacular skyline is one of the hottest tourist attractions enjoyed by both domestic and foreign tourism.

This is how Panama City’s skyline looked one early Sunday morning from the recently inaugurated Cinta Costera III.  I get goose bumps in my skin when I see what a modern nation we have become.  Here we go.

This is the finish line for the series of pictures of the impressive Coastal Strip III.  There is no doubt in my mind, that this site will be one of the hottest tourist attractions of Panama City.

I hope you have enjoyed these pictures as much as I have enjoyed capturing them with my photographic gear.  Now it’s time to turn the page, move on  and seek new graphic territories to explore.  Good Day.
