A Marine Observation Point at the Coastal Strip III

While exploring the characteristics of the newly inaugurated Coastal Strip, I serendipitously happened into an impressive observatory with a fantastic view of Panama City.  It has turned out to become a mandatory stop for those interested in taking pictures of the city.  Of course I was no exception.

These are some of the shots I took of this wonderful venue which is rapidly morphing into one of the most popular tourist icons of the city.  Here we go. (Please click images to enlarge.)

  1. Hola Omar,

These are on my “must see this” list for our next trip. I would love to be there at high tide at the peak of the rainy season. I am guessing it would be like being at sea (but much more stable), with the waves and storm swirling around. I don’t believe the photo opportunities would be good, but the experience would be worth it.

    Saludos,

    jim

  2. Hola Jim & Nena:

Your description of the site at high tide is exactly what I had in mind. A photo session under those stormy conditions would be absolutely awesome.

Don’t be surprise if you find a blog post with pictures of a stormy day at the Coastal Strip.

    Regards,

    Omar.-
