Verdure

The Cinta Costera is indeed a breath of fresh air for the city dwellers suffocated by the jungle of concrete, steel and glass.  Exiting this environment and plunging in to the green recreational areas of the strip is entering into a fresh and invigorating world.  The levels of stress accumulated by the rat-race lifestyle of the urban areas are immediately diffused by enjoying the plants and bright tropical flowers of this long strip on top of the ocean water.  The ocean breeze adds charm to the site.

Below are several shots of the green areas of the Panama City’s Coastal Strip III.  For those of you who enjoy smelling the daisies on a daily basis, this will be a pleasant sight to view.  Here we go.

  1. Lots to like, here. It looks like the backs of the benches fold, to make them more comfortable for people. And I love the photo of the man and his dog.

The yellow flowers in the first photo I’m just sure are lantana. We have them here, too – they’re a lovely and hardy native flower. Yellow may be my favorite color, anyway – except for green!

  2. Linda:

As the man approached me, he talked to his dog and told me something like “get ready for a picture buddy”. The dog heeded.

This is a lovely place to be. I wish you could hop in a plane and come on down. I’m sure it would be time well invested. Will you?

    Regards,

    Omar.-
