Having Fun With Skateboards

The only official skateboard facility in Panama is located at the Cinta Costera III in Panama City.  The place is so cool, it is visited by children and adults alike from all over the country.  On Sundays the site is packed with skateboarding fans practicing all kinds of odd and dangerous stunts.

Take a look at the following guys practicing their stuff at the Cinta Costera.  I would never dare to defy the laws of gravity as they do.  Here we go.

Father and son practicing skateboarding at the Cinta Costera III in Panama City. The kid posed for me and I had his pictured posted yesterday. I like this quality time shared by the family. We need more of that in this country to enhance traditional family values. Photo by ©Omar Upegui R.

  1. Great pics. I recognized the father and son from yesterday. It did occur to me that you might well say “the only official skateboard facility in Panama.” I have a corner apartment, and one bedroom window overlooks a lovely passageway between my building and the next. On the water side, there are steps going down to a large wooden deck, and every now and then I hear the clatter-clatter-clank-clank of wheels on wood, as the neighborhood skateboarders hone their skills.

Too bad they don’t have a park like this nearby.

  2. Good idea Linda. Will make the correction immediately. Maybe, somebody in your area is planning the next skateboard facility in Houston as we speak.

    Thanks for the tip. Bye.
