    I agree, simple things are beautiful because of their minimalistic structure. Leonardo da Vinci once said: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

  2. Do you know what this reminds me of? When I was a kid, at Christmas time we would make decorations for our windows using colored cellophane. We liked making our windows look like the church windows. I haven’t seen that stuff in decades, honestly. (But I just went and looked, and you still can buy it.)

    It really is attractive, and goes very well with the white lathe.

    I’ll bet you had tons of fun decorating your windows with colored cellophane. In the picture, the atmosphere inside the church is very enticing. The brighter the sun, the fuller the effect inside the building.
