Children’s Shoes

Snapshot of three pairs of children’s shoes. They belong to “The Twisters” who blew in yesterday afternoon thirsty for pancakes and ice cream. They had both in generous amounts. This is the way they organize their shoes as soon as they come through the door. Discipline is a good thing at a young age; it develops good habits. Photo by ©Omar Upegui R.

  1. A nice photo, and a bit of a revelation – pancakes and ice cream? I never have heard of such a thing! Are they regular pancakes, or more like a dessert pancake – a crepe? You’ve got me thinking. I love banana pancakes – a scoop of ice cream wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to add!

  2. Hi Linda:

Regular pancakes and vanilla ice cream. These kids will gulp down anything sweet. My wife makes the best pancakes (Aunt Jemina) in Panama.

We usually have pancakes on Sundays with maple syrup. Yummmity-yum-yum-yum! 🙂
