Offenses With a Touch of Class

There are people who will insult others, but the way they do it reflect a taste of class.  Let’s take a look of some of these offenses with distinction.

“I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play; bring a friend…. if you have one..”
– George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill

“Cannot possibly attend first night, will attend second… if there is one.”
– Winston Churchill, in response

“I feel so miserable without you; it’s almost like having you here.”
– Stephen Bishop

“He is a self-made man and worships his creator.”
– John Bright

“I’ve just learned about his illness. Let’s hope it’s nothing trivial.”
– Irvin S. Cobb

Yep, these guys would say nasty things to other people, but you’ll have to admit, they had a nice way of doing it.  Good Day.

  1. Hello Abe:

What a sweet gesture. Same to you Abraham and your life partner Patty.

I love the way you have returned from your sickness. You have resurged like a 17 year-old kid.

    Happy Valentine!
