In an effort to adhere to its policy of having a stable and secure Web browser, the Mozilla Devs. launched a security patch identified as 3.0.3. According to Mozilla’s official Web site, they fixed a problem where users were unable to retrieve saved passwords or save new passwords (bug 454708).
Mozilla strongly recommends that all Firefox users upgrade to this latest release. If you already have Firefox 3 or Firefox 2, you will receive an automated update notification within 24 to 48 hours. This update can also be applied manually by selecting “Check for Updates…” from the Help menu.
Firefox 3.0.3 is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux as free downloads at http://getfirefox.com/.
