Highly Efficient Mileage of American Citizens

After the price of oil reached the unprecedented record price of $147.25 on July 11th., everybody nowadays is closely monitoring the bumpy ride of gasoline and diesel prices. Another measurement most of us are most interested, is our automobile’s mileage and if our car is Full or Empty. This drives me crazy every time I get into my auto.

Having said that, I recently read somewhere that a recent study found that the average American walks about 900 miles in a year.

Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon. This is better than an efficient energy Japanese car.

Kind of makes you proud, doesn’t it?
