Mozilla Firefox Released Today

As expected, Mozilla launched Firefox security and stability patch this morning. As of this moment, Mozilla has not published the Release Notes for this upgrade. I guess we’ll have to wait until it becomes available.

I was able to download and install Firefox’s latest version at Major As usual, the download and installation process was a breeze.

This morning (03-26-08),  Mozilla released information regarding fixes made to Firefox latest patch:

  • MFSA 2008-19: XUL popup spoofing variant (cross-tab popups)
  • MFSA 2008-18 : Java socket connection to any local port via LiveConnect
  • MFSA 2008-17 : Privacy issue with SSL Client Authentication
  • MFSA 2008-16 : HTTP Referrer spoofing with malformed URLs
