As part of my photography training projects, I had the assignment of taking pictures where the viewer could appreciate color, shapes and texture of the selected subject.

Specifically the assignment was:

“Throughout this section of the book, we have concentrated on looking at how controlling the elements of art and design (color, texture, pattern, line, contrast) produces strong photographs.

Make a series of five photographs which feature each of these elements in turn.”

I came up with two photographs which aimed at highlighting color, texture and shape. You be the judge if I passed the test.  If not, I’ll keep on trying until I get a passing grade.  (Fingers crossed)

This is what I came up with about a week ago.  Here we go.

There is no doubt that Nature is the artist with the best paints and brushes.  Good Day.
