If you have been following my posts, you probably know that my favorite shoes are Florsheim branded. I’m been buying this footwear for the last thirty years with excellent results. The average lifetime of these shoes is about three decades. I still use Florsheim shoes purchased in New York in 1980. That’s how durable these shoes are.
Now it’s time to replace a pair that is ripping in the front and can’t be repaired. They are comfortable loafers with rubber soles easy on your feet. It just like wearing tennis shoes with the appealing appearance of a Florsheim footwear. While visiting Metro Mall last Sunday, I visited a Florsheim shoe store named Domani, and found exactly what I was looking for.
I liked two models:
- Baker #48790 in Burgundy Wine color with a price tag of $79.50 including the ITBMS tax.
- Decatur sports shoes in light brown color with a price tag of $99.50 including the ITBS tax.
With the purchase of these shoes, I can get for free, either a Florsheim leather wallet or a Florsheim leather belt, as a special promotion. I’m analyzing my budget to see if and when I can squeeze this purchase; either for both pairs, or at least one in the near future and later the other one. At this moment, the numbers don’t add up, but I’ll keep on trying. “If there’s a will there’s a way.”
Below are a couple a pictures of the Florsheim store at Metro Mall, just to give you an idea of how the outlet looked like when I was there last Sunday afternoon. Here we go.
Tomorrow I’ll be posting more photographs of the Metro Mall for your enjoyment. Panama is the favorite buying place for most Latin Americans looking for good quality goods at reasonable prices. It’s not necessary to travel to Miami to buy good quality merchandise any more. Panama is the place to go. Good Day.
