Trust me, Omar – you’re not alone. There are some people I know very, very well who are engaged in the same battle. In fact, one of those people happens to be sitting here with coffee and tapping a few words into your blog right now.
Morning Linda:
I see that we are both on the same boat. I started eating less and adding veggies to my diet. My wife walks everyday around the neighborhood for approximately one hour. I’m planning to become her walking partner.
My next appointment with my doc is on February 2013. I wish I could tip the scale at 160 pounds. That’s what I should weigh. Now I need willpower to drop nine pounds. Let’s wait and see what happens.
Meanwhile, more string beans, carrots, and cauliflowers. No more French fries, rice, or hamburgers. Oh, and no sodas at all.
Warm Regards,
Omar.-
I checked the height/weight chart at my last doctor visit and decided I’m too short. I need to grow about 3 inches taller.
Seriously, one change I made to my time on the computer is to raise my computer to allow me to stand while surfing. Sitting is bad in so many ways and I’ve already had one back surgery so posture and exercise are important.

Hi Jim & Nena:
I couldn’t agree with more. I’ll start walking, and if possible, would be interested in going to a gym. At 65 my body is not obeying my orders. It’s got a will of its own.
Regards,
Omar.-
