Hello Jim and Nena:

Yep, that's true. We had a ball going up to Cerro Ancón. Up there, even the micro-climate is different. Nice and cool with a thick tropical vegetation and chirping birds everywhere. From the hill, the view of the modern city, Casco Viejo, and the Panama Canal is awesome.

By all means, squeeze a trip up to the hill during your next visit to Panama. And don't forget to bring your camera along to capture the experience.

Take Care,

Omar.-
