If you have been following our recent post, you already know about the Villas Navideñas and their colorful exhibitions of children’s themes. Hardly a famous children’s favorite has been left out. For today I’ve selected the classic characters of Peter Pan and James Cook.
Captain James Cook, is the villain now pirate captain of the Jolly Roger brig, and lord of the pirate village/harbor Neverland. Hook wears a big iron hook in place of his right hand, which was cut off by Peter Pan and eaten by a saltwater crocodile. Take a look at this mean pirate.
Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish novelist and playwright J. M. Barrie (1860–1937). A mischievous boy who can fly and magically refuses to grow up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang the Lost Boys, interacting with mermaids, Indians, fairies, and pirates, and (from time to time) meeting ordinary children from the world outside.
In addition to two distinct works by Barrie, the character has been featured in a variety of media and merchandise, both adapting and expanding on Barrie’s works.

If there’s still a kid hidden somewhere inside of you, please come to the Cinta Costera with your entire family, including your dog and cat of course. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the flying Peter Pan neatly dressed in light green. Good Day.
