Last night I had a thought-provoking experience. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t sleep. My eyes were tired of looking at the monitor all day long, so I left my computer alone. Instead, I went to the kitchen and looked out the window and stared at the night outside.
Our street, Las Acacias, was well illuminated as well as the adjacent neighborhoods of 9 de enero and Los Andes #2. The proximity was extremely quiet. It was so quiet I could hear the grass growing. Up in the air, a couple of clouds reflected the lights of the streetlights below. It was so nice to be with myself—alone, only with my thoughts.
After two or three hours, I don’t remember how many, I went back to bed and slept like a baby. It was a pleasant experience of a silent night. Good Day.
