The climate has turned violent in many parts of the world. Countries like Pakistan, China, India, Germany, and Poland are having a hard time controlling deadly floods that are destroying everything in its path. The deluge has affected approximately 14 million people in Pakistan. The devastation in Pakistan is of such a scale it is beyond the control of this country. Help from abroad is urgently needed. Coping with the deadly floods is absolutely beyond Pakistan’s capacity.
On the other hand, Moscow is surrounded by a cloud of smoke that is practically choking the city. More than 50,000 hectares are on fire transforming the city in a torching inferno. People are recommended to stay home, but if they have to go outside, the use of masks is a must. The origin of these numerous fires are believed to be human negligence, like throwing cigarettes in the middle of dry grass, burning trash or preparing barbecues in public parks. In some areas of Moscow, the blanket of smoke is so dense whole buildings disappear from sight.
In Panama, the Gods have been benevolent. We are in the middle of the wet season and surely we have had our share of rain, but nothing compared with the rains of Europe or Asia. It’s now 06:13 a.m. (-5 GMT) and it’s raining outside; in fact it has been raining since 2:00 a.m. when an electrical storm started. The light of the lightnings was so bright it looked as if we were in the middle of the day. Thunder was loud and echoed slowly into the distance. It was quite a show, Nature gave us last night.
Two days ago I took several pictures of the sky above our house. The time was approximately 04:30 p.m. There were lovely white cumulus clouds floating in the sky, which looked like cotton candy. Take a look.

Nature normally is very wise, but when it goes loco it can do a lot of damage. I hope the problems of Pakistan are promptly solved. The scale of the destruction is frightening. Good Day.
