“Each time a man stands up for an ideal or acts to improve the lot of others or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope and, crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”

To this day I am so disappointed that Universal Health Care has been denied Americans by the Republican Party that I used to be a member of. Now it has become a party of “No” and seems bent on destroying the American way of life. And their leaders are unstrung people whose platform is riddled with hatred and ridicule. One day their ship will come in but there won’t be another Republican as the captain.
Hello Abe:
It’s nice to hear from you again. I don’t know much about American politics; except what’s on the news. In general terms, I like the Democrat’s agenda better.
Republicans are inclined to leave everything to the private sector and we all know what happens when greed rules.
Europe is more focused on social issues and are better off than North and South America. We could learn a lot from them; specially the Scandinavians.
Thanks for dropping in.
Omar.-
