Karol, our grandnephew, was four years old last Monday. Her father organized a little birthday party at our house to celebrate the occasion. He bought a small cake with Karol’s name on it, a liter of Coke and a quart of vanilla ice cream. My wife contributed with several small symbolic presents and I contributed orchestrating the Happy Birthday song.
The total cost of the party was around $10.00. You don’t need a million bucks to buy quality family time. I know of parents who will spend hundreds of dollars and what have you for lush birthday parties, but family values are nowhere to be seen. We firmly believe that solid family values are priceless. You can’t buy them with Visa or MasterCard.
Below are color splashes of our little birthday party. Here we go.

Yep, you can’t buy love with plastic money. No way, Jose. Good Day.

Happy birthday Karol!
