Opera doesn’t plan to sit still while the rest of its competitors are busy making their software better. They recently freed version 9.62 which is really a security patch.
According to Opera’s official website, this is the new stuff:
Opera 9.62 is a recommended security upgrade. Opera 9.62 incorporates the Opera Presto 2.1.1 user agent engine.
- Fixed an issue where History Search could be used to execute arbitrary code, as discovered by Aviv Raff; see our advisory
- The links panel no longer allows cross-site scripting; see our advisory
