A convenient Chrome Add-on is available to back up valuable user's profiles.
Ever since the launch of Google Chrome at the beginning of the month, users are insistently saying that they would like to see more customization features for this speedy-stripped-down browser. By customization, they mean more Add-ons or extensions, mimicking Mozilla’s Firefox.
While searching the Web, I accidentally found that one company has built a convenient Add-on for Google Chrome which I would like to share with you today. The extension is called Google Chrome Backup, created by Parhelia Tools.
Chrome Backup is a small tool to create, backup, restore and manage Google Chrome profiles. As you probably know, a browser’s profile holds valuable personal data like history, bookmarks, etc. Everything is done with one click. Latest version also supports Chromium, which modified version of Google Chrome, for portable use.
Not only that, you can easily create multiple user profiles (each with different settings/bookmarks) and switch between them quickly.
Parphelia Tools has a website which will baby walk you through the whole process of managing your Chrome profiles. It’s nice to see new extensions being built for Google Chrome. Good Day!
