It’s been a while since Microsoft came up with Internet Explorer 7. In the meantime, Apple Safari, Opera and Mozilla Firefox have added a few goodies to their own Web browser. “Enough is enough,” said Steve Ballmer, and instructed its Redmond’s elves to start working on a newer web browser—Internet Explorer 8.
Internet experts are saying that IE8 will probably hit the streets sometime in November, just in time before Santa Claus comes to town. Most of the features you’ll find in this latest release are features you already get with competitive browsers—with a few exceptions.
Don Farber of “Outside the Lines” discusses with his buddy Robert Vamosi some of the new features included in IE8. Please click here to enjoy a comprehensive video on IE8’s features, as well as a couple of links to interesting articles on the subject.
After viewing the video and reading the related literature, the sixty thousand dollar question is, which browser would you prefer, Internet Explorer or Firefox? Good Day!
